Potash Farm is situated at the southern end of the West Kent village of St Mary's Platt in the beautiful rolling countryside between Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Maidstone. It is the first website to sell cobnuts in their green, golden and de-husked states, as well as offering an attractive assortment of associated merchandise that provide excellent Christmas, Easter and one off gifts.

Alexander Hunt the owner of the farm also welcomes farm walks that provide a splendid opportunity to learn more about cobnut production and what is involved in managing a commercial plantation. He has twenty-five years experience in cobnut growing and now provides an expert advisory service for those farmers and growers who are wishing to diversify into cobnut production.

Kentish Cobnuts

A Cobnut is a type of hazelnut traditionally grown in Kent. They are harvested in their green state form mid August and with brown shells and husks by mid October. All the Kentish Cobnuts are sold dehusked from November onwards.

Walnuts

A Walnut is an edible nut often encased in a smooth green husk and mainly grown in California, France and Italy, but are increasingly grown in the UK. The organic Walnuts have been specially selected by Potash Farm for quality, size, ease of cracking, and good flavour.

Almonds

An Almond is an edible nut encased in shell with a downy outer grey / green coat. They are mainly grown in California, Spain, Italy, Australia and Turkey. These organic Almonds have been specially selected by Potash Farm for quality size and good flavour.

Pecan Nuts

A Pecan nut is an edible nut encased in a brown shell with a tough outer green coat. They are mainly grown in Georgia, Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Outside the United States Pecan Nuts are grown in Australia, Brazil, China, Israel, Mexico, Peru and South Africa. These organic Pecan nuts have been specially selected by Potash Farm for quality, size and good flavour.

Chestnuts

A Chestnut is an edible nut often encased in a prickly husk and mainly grown in Spain, Italy and France. These organic Chestnuts have been specially selected by Potash Farm for quality size and good flavour.

These chocolates produced by Potash Farm are a rare and exceptional after dinner luxury, combining the distinctive flavours of very high quality chocolate and the roasted kernal of the cobnut.

Potash Farm is now producing two specialist fudges namely the toasted Kentish Cobnut fudge and the coffee and Kentish Cobnut fudge.
