Kentish cobnuts are a traditional variety of hazelnut grown in Kent, prized for their distinctive flavour and versatility.
These dehusked cobnuts are from our previous harvest and have been allowed to mature naturally, developing a richer, more rounded nutty flavour compared with freshly harvested cobnuts.
Their mature flavour makes them an excellent choice for cooking and baking, particularly in homemade biscuits, cakes, crumble toppings, nut brittles and other sweet or savoury dishes. They can also be roasted to bring out their delicious nutty character.
If you're planning to use cobnuts in your favourite recipes, our matured harvest is a great choice. For those who prefer a fresher, crunchier nut to enjoy straight from the shell, we recommend our current season's dehusked Kentish cobnuts.
