Farm Produced Chestnuts

A Chestnut is an edible nut often encased in a prickly husk and mainly grown in Spain, Italy and France. These Chestnuts have been specially selected by Potash Farm for quality size and good flavour.

Storage: store in a cool dry place for up to three months.

Preparation guides: Cut across the top of each nut with a sharp knife,

To roast: Cook at 200°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6 for 8-10 minutes, once cooked allow to stand for 2 mins and peel.

Availability: Throughout October, November, December, January, and February

fresh, large and gorgeous chestnuts

Order direct from Potash Farms if you care about quality chestnuts. Don't settle for the shriveled supermarket ones, even for cheap. I bought 2 kilos before the season ended, and they were beautiful. Huge, plump, fresh and heavy, roasted up nicely and tasted amazing. The box came ventilated correctly and was delivered quickly, plus kudos for efficient and friendly customer service :)

Really Delicious! Definitely superior to the ones you get from supermarkets and even your local green grocer. Did not find a single bad nut in my pile. Will be ordering from potash Farms from now on.
